Best Robot Vacuum Cleaner and Mop
If you need to clean up your mess quickly, a robot vacuum cleaner and mop is the way to go. The best robot vacuums and mop I test had superior navigation and mapping. They sucked up Cheerios and fake dog turds, well as wires that were tangled.
You can also schedule cleaning tasks using an app and track their progress.
1. Roborock S8 maxV Ultra
If you're looking for the best robot vacuum and mop combo with cutting-edge features, take a look at the Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra. This high-end vacuum is fast and agile and picked up human hair and pet hair nearly flawlessly in our Debris Pickup Test. It has a sleek app interface with a miniature map of your home as well as buttons on the screen for manual control.
The S8's Dirt-Detection Technology allows it to alter the cleaning mode based on dirt levels. It will clean its mopping pads more often when it comes across dust. Carpeted areas are given priority for mopping using a damp mopping pad.
The mop roller has several other clever features, including docks that can be connected to the plumbing system in your home to wash and clean it without having to manually refill the mop. With the built-in voice assistant in the S8, you can use voice commands to specify room cleaning modes and granular control using only your voice.
2. Yeedi Cube
The Yeedi Cube offers a variety of options for those looking for an automated robot vacuum that is hands-free that also has mopping capabilities. It's one of the combo robot vacuums with mopping capabilities that are priced lower than competitors.
Like many robovacs Yeedi Cube requires a little bit of work to get started, including creating an account on the app of the manufacturer and connecting it to your WiFi network. Once that's done, the robot can start vacuuming and mopping with ease.
It's important to keep in mind that the mapping process can take some time and the Yeedi Cube may need a couple of attempts before it can get a good picture of your space. The object detection is hit-and-miss. It was able to maneuver around furniture and other obstacles, however, it got stuck on a looser rug with tassels and required a flip to free itself. But these are minor issues, and the Yeedi Cube is still a great option for those who want an all-in-one cleaner.
3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete
The Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete is a home cleaning solution. Its innovative mopping system uses an alternating motion that's similar to hand scrubs. This means that floors are cleaned, not just swept. Its detachable stick-vacuum is a game changer that enables you to reach areas that robot vacuums can't.
This model is basically the same as the popular X2 Omni, but with a slightly higher suction power of 8700Pa and other intelligent features. The RGBD sensor upgrade is able to learn your home and offer the ability to avoid obstacles in a dynamic manner. The app's smart features allow you to modify a range of settings, including AI cleaning and virtual boundaries.
The X2 Combo is also self-prepping, with both the robot vacuum and the mop returning to their charging station after each task to clean their pads and empty their dust bins, and put the waste in bags that self-seal. This helps to keep the system clean and also prevents allergens from recirculating. And its battery lifespan is long enough to handle large spaces without requiring a recharge mid-clean.
4. Eufy S1 Pro
As one of the more expensive robot vacuum and mop models, the Eufy S1 Pro offers impressive features for the price. It comes with a powerful 8,000 Pa suction power, a rotating brush for hard and carpet floors and an excellent obstacles-avoiding. It also has a unique mopping method, that uses a roller that is continuously filled with water to pick up dirt and deposit it in the dirty water tank.
cheap robot vacuum cleaner performed well and was able to navigate close to walls without falling and avoiding steps. However, it struggled with fine engrained debris and wasn't always able to remove raised thresholds in rooms. Its operating noise level is also very high, which means this model might not be as simple to set and forget as the other models.
The S1 Pro, like most robotic vacuums, comes with docking technology that allows it to refill its clean water tank, empty the dust bin and dry and wash the mop, and empty its mop pad. This makes maintenance easy and lets the S1 Pro spend more time cleaning floors according to the regular schedule. Eufy's app allows you to manage all the functions. It gives you an easy overview and a variety of options for configuration.
5. Freo X Ultra
The Freo X Ultra robot vacuum/mower is among the top vacuums/mowers that are available. It provides impressive vacuuming and mopping results. Its LIDAR mapping sensor is able to recognize furniture legs and other obstacles with good precision. The app allows users to fine-tune map coverage, create zones that are not allowed to enter, and set cleaning preferences. The Freo's brush is designed to prevent hair from wrapping itself around it. This is an issue with a lot of robotic vacuums.
The Mop Mode is impressive too and comes with Reuleaux triangular mops that spin at 180 RPM and apply up to 12N of downward pressure. The mopping system also incorporates intelligent carpet detection, which lifts these pads upward when they're in proximity to soft surfaces to prevent contamination of them with.
The docking station is designed to function as a hands-free maintenance centre which is capable of automatically drying and washing the mops, and refilling them with detergent and water. The base station has an integrated dust-processing system that compacts dust, which allows seven weeks of uninterrupted maintenance.
6. S10
A few hundred dollars more than the S8, this robot is a slick job of keeping my office tidy and is able to take on the corners of my tight apartment. It uses laser mapping and camera to create a 3D map of your home so it can know what to stay clear of. It has an object/obstacle detector that can avoid things like toys and dog bowls (but not poop), unlike many vacuums.
It has other great notable features, like a self-emptying dustbin and a mop pad that's self-washing and adjustable to the temperature of the water and a side-reaching brush that can get to places that other mops don't. You can also adjust the settings for each room and set up cleaning schedules.
It comes with the same multi-room smart mapping that is found in the S8 and is able to distinguish between carpets and laminate with high-pile rugs. If you're looking to save time, it can even avoid mopping rooms that aren't dirty. If you have several types of flooring in your house and don't want to spend extra money on a Roborock that comes with advanced mapping capabilities, this is a great option.
7. Q5 Pro
This robot is an excellent choice when you're looking for a robot that can do both regular maintenance as well as touch-ups to messy water stains. It comes with a wide range of features, including a self emptying dustbin and a separate dock for refilling water, and customizable settings via the app. It's extremely quiet and can navigate around furniture legs and socks with ease. However, it isn't able to remove tangled rug tassels and it's battery drains a little more quickly than other models we tested in our tests.
The Q5 Pro, with a price of less than $250, is a powerhouse that offers powerful suction and convenient automation in a sleek design. It didn't score quite as well in our vacuuming and mopping tests like the pricier Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra however it did extremely well overall. It also includes a wide selection of cleaning options to meet your needs, from the low-power 'Quiet' mode for debris that is light to the more powerful 'Turbo' mode for rooms with carpet. It also has the capability to remove and reconnect its mop pads, without getting your carpets wet.

8. K10 Plus
The K10 Plus is a great robot vacuum and mop for those who live in small spaces. It's extremely quiet and speedy, and it is a great choice for maneuvering around tight spaces. It is also very good at removing pet hair off carpets.
It's smaller than many of its competitors however it doesn't sacrifice any features. It has a decent suction capacity and can be programmed to take pictures of each object it picks (i.e. chew toys socks, chew toys) and mark them in the app as 'not located' so that they will not be removed in future cleanings. The photos are encrypted and are not tied to your account.
It's great at vacuuming, but it's not so good at mopping. It makes use of disposable wet wipes you clip onto the bottom of the bot and it basically drags them around the floor. Compare this to the Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra or Narwhal which have water reservoirs, and automatically wash and attach their mopheads.
